OUR HISTORY
Celebrating 25 years as Toronto’s longest running
club for original folk and acoustic music.
An, alternative, creative space for healthy post hippie
food, drink, art and music. Ten years ago, owner Judy Perly
daughter of the founders of Perly’s Maps introduced Klezmer
and Yiddish music, with Jewish home cooking at her
famous Sunday Buffet Brunch - "Bella! Did Ya Eat?"
All the major Canadian Folk musicians played during the
80’s and 90’s - Willie P. Bennet, Brent Titcomb, Fred
J Eaglesmith, Ian Tamblyn, Angus Finnan, Joe Hall, Bob Snider,
Colin Linden, Loreena Mckinnet, Daisy Debolt & Mose Scarlett
just to name a few.
The Open Stage every Monday for the past 21 Years is the
jump off spot for most of Toronto’s Musicians, Lori Cullen,
Ron Sexsmith, Emm Gryner, Kathy Goldman, Noah Zaccharin &
